Relationship with Lincoln[]
Mary Todd Lincoln meets Abraham Lincoln when they are young. Abraham has already started his life as a vampire killer, and Mary is unaware of this. He finally tells her during a romantic picnic, but she laughs it off, convinced he's joking. Throughout the film she remains the only person who is closer to Lincoln than his mentor Henry Sturges.
